Paid Membership, or a Free "Friend"?

As a young non-profit organisation, we have started off keeping membership fees low.

Friend

Please note that becoming a “Friend” does not make you a “Member”. Becoming a “Member” entails paying a membership fee which is valid for 12 months. Most of our events are for “Members” only.

A “Friend” is a person who has created a Free Personal Account with us. If your partner or someone else of your family also wants to become a “Friend” then they must create their own personal account. “Friends” will typically be on one of our mailing lists allowing them to easily keep up with our events and receive first hand news and information. When “Friends” are logged-in they may see information that is not visible for normal visitors but remember that most of our events are for “Members” only. If you have “Friend” status and there is a “Members Only” event that interests you, you can easily become a Member immediately and after your payment be able to register and participate for that event.

Friend

If you are just interested in what we do and not yet willing to pay for a membership, this is for you.

Personal

A Personal Member creates a Personal Account with us and pays a (yearly recurring) fee. A “Personal” Member is a private individual who does not receive our email, news or attend our events in the name of a business or corporate organisation. Personal Members will also be on one of our mailing lists allowing them to easily keep up with our events and receive first hand news and information that normal website Vistors cannot see. In addition, Personal Members will be entitled to attend events that are not open to the public or “Friends”. In the case where the public or “Friends” can attend, Personal Members will receive a discount on the normal price when applicable.
